The stay was great! The heated pool was a hit with the kids, and the continental breakfast had plenty of yummy choices. The room was lovely and the location was perfect for exploring. Definitely planning to return for another visit! 😊

The stay at Microtel Inn & Suites was quite enjoyable. The swimming pool provided a nice area for the kids to splash and have fun while we were able to relax. Breakfast options were diverse, offering warm food along with cold choices, making mornings more pleasant. The room was clean, but the size was a bit snug for our family, forcing us to find space for our bags. The shower did feel cramped. One downside was the small breakfast area. it lacked enough seating, causing a bit of chaos as everyone jostled for tables during peak hours. Additionally, the hotel’s policy on bed sheet changes was concerning. We were told sheets would only be changed after three days, which isn't ideal when traveling with kids. Overall, it’s a decent place, but some areas could use a bit more attention to guest comfort.

Family-friendly spot worth considering

The beds are more comfortable than most 3-star places I’ve been to, felt like a slice of luxury. And let me tell you, the breakfast was solid, they kept the bacon and scrambled eggs coming like it was an endless supply.

It wasn’t exactly cheap but the experience was still acceptable.

We had a decent stay for 6 nights. The staff was friendly, but our room didn't get cleaned at all. The dining area looked nice but sometimes felt crowded during breakfast. A picnic area was a great spot for our kids to unwind. Just a heads up, they should really pay more attention to room cleaning during long stays!

Additionally, while the hotel is in a reasonably quiet area, the nearby restaurants all seem to close by 9 PM, leaving limited dining options for those who want to eat after a long day. For longer stays, the policy on changing sheets only after three days is inconvenient, especially with kids who can make a mess. Handprints plastered on windows and the presence of dirty furniture in the room didn't help the cleanliness factor either.

the indoor water slide made our stay unforgettable. the towels in the bathroom were dirty.

I had a delightful stay at Microtel Inn & Suites By Wyndham Oyster Bay Ladysmith. The staff were truly inviting, and the breakfast included a nice selection such as bacon and sausages. I particularly appreciated the clean and modern facilities that added to my comfort.

The lovely rainforest view from our comfortable room added tranquility, while the well-equipped gym and fun pool facilities made our stay enjoyable.

It was just a good match for a flash stay in Ladysmith with outstanding value. The heated pool was a real hit with the kids, keeping them entertained while we relaxed. Bring your own snacks since nearby dining options close early.
